1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the lyrify.app website and of the Lyrify app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms.

2. What Lyrify does

Lyrify is an app that helps you discover and listen to music already publicly available on the internet. It organises this content into charts, genres, playlists and releases, and shows lyrics when they are available.

Lyrify is not a record label, a distributor or a music publisher.

3. Lyrify hosts no content

Lyrify hosts no track, video, artwork or lyrics. No music file is uploaded, sold or distributed by Lyrify. Content stays where its authors or rights holders published it.

4. No API, public data only

Lyrify uses no API and has no private, paid or reserved access to third-party platforms. The app relies only on public data, freely accessible on the internet to anyone who looks at it.

Lyrify is not affiliated with any of these platforms, and is neither supported nor endorsed by them.

5. Copyright

Titles, videos, artwork, lyrics and artist names belong to their authors and rights holders. Their presence in Lyrify transfers no right, neither to Lyrify nor to the people who use the app.

If your music is published on YouTube, it appears in Lyrify automatically, with nothing for you to do. Lyrify becomes one more showcase for your work: new listeners discover you in the charts, genres and playlists.

When a video is watched in Lyrify, it is played by the official YouTube player, just as on YouTube itself: the view goes to your channel.

6. Your account

An account is required to use the app. You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential. You can stop using Lyrify at any time.

If you use a Lyrify ambassador's promo code, your username and profile photo are shown to them, with the date of your purchase. Never your email or phone number.

7. Personal use

Lyrify is meant for personal, non-commercial use. It is forbidden to copy, resell, broadcast publicly or exploit the content reachable from the app, and to try to misuse or disrupt how it works.

8. Liability

Lyrify is provided as is. Since it depends on content published by third parties, a track may become unavailable, change or disappear at any time. Lyrify is not responsible for content published by third parties.

9. End of service and refunds

Lyrify may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service, at any time and without notice.

Amounts paid, including for a Premium subscription, are non-refundable, including if the service is suspended or discontinued.

10. Changes

Lyrify may change these terms at any time and without notice. The update date at the top of the page gives the latest version. Continuing to use Lyrify after a change means accepting the new terms.
